On Sunday’s afternoon dives Sirena headed out to do some wreck dives including the Danny and the Toy Box. Water temperature was in the mid 80s, a cool autumn breeze filled the air, seas were 2-3 ft., and we experienced a very light to no current on the dives.
One goliath grouper remained on the Danny, but upon approaching the Spud Barge over 15 of this leviathans were seen roaming around the wreck. A Caribbean reef shark swam though the inside of the wreck and directly into the path of the goliath grouper gang.
Our second dive on the Toy Box and Playpen was filled with tons of marine life, too. Included in the bunch were huge schools of grunts, a large stingray, and a lonesome goliath grouper.
