Join Dr. Larry Wood, volunteer for the Sea Turtle Conservation League of Singer Island, for a morning Sea Turtle walk along Singer Island’s beautiful beaches. Dr. Wood will share his knowledge about Sea Turtle nesting habitats as we search for nests as we stroll along a 1-mile span. He will also teach us how to identify each nest by species, and the dynamics of sea turtle nesting practices.

Every year, thousands of sea turtles wander up South Florida’s sandy beaches to build nests and lay their eggs. Our shorelines are an essential habitat to future generations of many species of Sea Turtles, including Loggerheads, Greens, Hawksbills, Leatherbacks and Kemp’s Ridley.

This event has LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE, and attendees MUST RSVP to hold their spot. Enjoy delicious pastries and coffee after the event.
