Join us online on Thursday, April 1st at 6:30pm for the PADI Pro Night. Take a virtual tour of our professional programs and courses. These programs meet your current level of diving and take you all the way to your desired professional level.
The PADI Pro Night will also cover a-la-carte opportunities for students who are interested in taking individual courses.
DIVEMASTER
During the PADI Pro Night, learn about our most popular program, the PADI Divemaster Course. This certification is the first professional level of diving. Become familiar with the exciting features of this course. Understand how we structure this class at Pura Vida Divers to give you in-depth, hands-on experience.
You will also learn about the career programs that include the Divemaster Course, while bundling it with other key courses and skills.
SCUBA INSTRUCTOR
Many of our Divemasters go on to earn their instructor rating during the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). Course Director Barbara DeClerque will discuss features of this program. Learn what to expect from your training. The PADI Pro Night will help you gain an in-depth understanding of how to continue your career as a SCUBA Instructor.
INTERNSHIPS
We are also excited to introduce our Divemaster Internship program. This course will run for two sessions this summer. Understand how the internship provides opportunities for dive pro development and growth. Learn how it enhances the Divemaster course and prepares you for a career in the dive industry during the PADI Pro Night.
Participants in Pura Vida Divers’ Divemaster Internship Program will receive hands-on training. They will gain experience crewing on charter boats, practice boat handling procedures, assist with classes, and lead dive guides. Develop a thorough understanding of Fill Station procedures. Learn about features of dive gear and practice sizing customers and students. Gain experience selling gear and learn about retail operations. You will also receive career coaching and mentoring through a resume workshop.
Ultimately, Divemaster Interns will begin their pro careers with hands-on experience that makes them a prime candidate for their first professional position.
VETERANS
The upcoming PADI Pro Night will also feature information about our Veteran dive programs. Pura Vida Divers is the only dive center in Palm Beach County certified by the State of Florida. We are proud to offer Career Programming that is eligible for full coverage through the GI Bill.
Our Divemaster, Instructor, and Resort Operations programs are incredibly popular with Veterans. Combine your passion with a new career path.
