Join us for an Ande tec charter on Saturday, October 6. Dive the 293-foot coastal freighter, nestled 200 feet deep in the sand north of the Palm Beach Inlet. The boat departs at 1:30 PM. Check in by 12:45 PM. This trip is limited to 8 divers, so sign up now to save your spot.
The ship is largely intact, with the tower starting at a depth of 115ft. You will usually find a very strong north current during the Ande tec charter, making a quick descent to the bottom ideal. Large pelagics, like bull sharks, are frequent guests! We have even spotted the unique Mola Mola on dives at the Ande. This is a favorite site among local tech divers.
Join us after the dive for the Palm Beach County Diving Association’s Artificial Reef Fundraiser at Loggerhead Marinelife Center! The Association will be raising money to support the placement of new artificial reefs offshore of Palm Beach. A $5 ticket includes delicious BBQ, beer and wine, a chance to win some awesome door prizes, and an evening of fun. Click here for more info.
Technical charters are NOT led by a guide, so please be sure to have a personal lift bag. There is no down line, so divers must be able to complete deco procedures in a drift environment. All divers MUST show proof of proper certification when they arrive for the charter.
