In the age of smartphones, just about everyone has a camera in their pocket. The trouble is, we have to leave our phones on dry land when we enter the underwater world. Or do we?

Kraken’s dive camera app allows you to take stunning underwater images using the camera you already own. Then, after the dive, open your camera roll to find all your images waiting for you.

Photo Workshop
Book a photo workshop to learn more about underwater photography, light placement, and photo composition. First, meet at the shop to set up the demo kit together. Find out how to control your phone in the housing, and how to make sure it’s ready to enter the water. Then, participate in a classroom session to learn about underwater photography dos and don’ts. Finally, head over to the Blue Heron Bridge for a dive to test it all out.
KRAKEN SMARTPHONE HOUSING
The Kraken Smartphone Housing’s built in sensor detects leaks, so you can ensure the housing is watertight before entering the water. Along the dive, if your phone starts to run low on power, you can use the housing’s battery to charge your phone. This ensures long dive times and allows you to complete multiple dives on a single charge. After your dive, you can credit the cost of the housing rental to your purchase.
Kraken’s Smartphone housing is compatible with most current smartphone models. The only current exception is the Google Flip.
