We would like to introduce Katie Hansen, the newest member of the Pura Vida family!

Katie comes to us from Waverly, Iowa. She gained her Bachelors of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications, and her Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.  Katie began diving at age 13 while on a family vacation to Maui, Hawaii. After seeing countless sea turtles she was hooked, and has since obtained her Open Water certification. During her time in school Katie studied abroad through Semester at Sea and was able to visit Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, and Belize. Katie will be interning for Pura Vida for the duration of the summer, working in marketing and social media.
