Calling all beach-goers, surfers, paddlers and divers! Spend a beautiful Saturday morning with us from 9 am – 12 pm as we walk the shoreline of the Blue Heron Bridge and Phil Foster Park to collect trash and debris. This is a family-friendly event, so all ages are welcome. Prizes will be awarded for most trash collected and most unique find. T-shirts, cleanup materials and trash bags will be provided. Pura Vida Divers has played a key role in keeping Phil Foster Park and the Blue Heron Bridge clean since 2002. Over the years, we have removed thousands of pounds of trash from the shoreline and waterways. Social Night: Goliath Groupers
For most of the country, the arrival of Autumn means cool weather and bright oranges and reds as leaves begin to change color. In South Florida, however, Autumn signals the return of Goliath Grouper aggregations. These massive fish school around our wrecks and local reefs, providing amazing opportunities for encounters. Goliath Groupers are an awe inspiring sight for everyone from amateur divers to professional photographers. Learn more about these majestic fish, including their fight for survival from near-extinction only decades ago. Date TBA.
Goliath Grouper Aggregation Dives
Join us as we venture to nearby artificial reefs and wrecks in search of these gentle giants. We will have charters running aboard Sirena, as well as other dive boats throughout Palm Beach County.
Bring your camera and prepare to be amazed as you swim side-by-side with fish that rival you in length and weigh hundreds of pounds. As with all of our dives, we observe Goliath Grouper in their natural habitats, so animals should be seen and not touched and encounters are not guaranteed.

Sat, Sept 16 – International Coastal Cleanup
Help us keep the Blue Heron Bridge in top-notch condition as we walk along the shoreline collecting trash. Participants will each receive a complimentary cleanup t-shirt, and all materials will be provided. Collect the most debris to win an awesome prize donated by Pura Vida Divers!
Divers can also bring along a mesh bag and volunteer to remove debris from our reefs during a 2-tank charter aboard Sirena. RSVP or book your charter: 561-840-8750.
Sat, Sept 16 – Artificial Reef Fundraiser & Party!
Enjoy great food and beer, live music and games during Palm Beach County Diving Association’s annual Artificial Reef Fundraiser! This evening of fun will take place at the Lake Park Marina, just a few steps away from our charter boat Sirena.

The maritime history of Florida is riddled with tales of ships running aground or capsizing in storms. Learn about a few of the more interesting wrecks that dot our coastlines, and how maritime archaeologists and preservationists are ensuring these stories will survive for centuries to come. Celebrate Florida’s storied oceangoing past as we dive wrecks around the state. Social Night: Manatee Mania
As winter descends on South Florida, manatees begin their migration into the cool, clear waters of Florida’s intricate springs. Although we see manatees frequently in shallow water, there is much about them that might surprise you. Get to know more about these gentle giants from professionals that work in the field to protect manatee populations and ensure the health and well-being of their species. As with all of our Social Nights, yummy food will be served up buffet-style, and guests are welcome to bring a dish to share. Date TBA.
Coming Soon – Manatee Snorkel Adventure
Sign up for our first trip of 2018 – snorkeling with manatees in the beautiful clear waters of Crystal River Florida! Excursions generally include 2 days of acitivities. Begin on Saturday morning with a boat charter and snorkel session in the Crystal River Dates. Take a quick break for lunch, and head back out for a dive into Rainbow River. On Sunday morning, we’ll head back out for another Manatee encounter, and gather again in the afternoon for a short hike or swim. Pricing and details TBA.
