Those delicious lobster dinner meals you have been waiting anxiously for are almost here! Join Pura Vida Divers on July 24, 2015 for our July Social Night: Lobster Education Presentation. This is a FREE event!
It doesn’t matter if you’re a diver, surfer or beach goer, everyone is welcome to attend. So join us for an evening of socializing, delicious food, and LOBSTERS!!
Ian Flinchbaugh, Lobster collector, cook, environmentalist, and Pura Vida staff member, will be presenting. His presentation focuses on 2015 Lobster Season rules and regulations, limits, how to identify legal lobster and safely catch them, reef edict, different types of lobster collection gear, and recipes for different lobster dishes.
Following Ian’s presentation our sponsors Cod & Capers: Seafood Market will demonstrate how to prepare and cook lobster tail. The instructions will culminate with tasty samples for everyone!
Our team will be providing drinks and appetizers, and guests are welcomed to bring a small covered dish of food to the Social Night. This way everyone is sure to have their favorite dish. This is not a requirement! If you are unable to bring a dish, please do not let the dish prevent you from coming.
We will also have a closed door sale on all lobster collection gear, such as gloves, lobster loops, tickle sticks, gages, lobster hotels, and catch bags! This sale is only available during our Social Night, so be sure to stock up on all your lobster needs.
