This two and a half day program for PADI Instructors covers the PADI Adaptive Techniques Specialty Program. The Adaptive Techniques Specialty course includes techniques and effective approaches for teaching and supervising divers of varying abilities and physical challenges. The Adaptive Techniques Specialty course builds on PADI’s inclusive foundation by enhancing the training PADI Professionals receive, and preparing them for student-centered and prescriptive approaches when adapting techniques to meet diver needs.
Completing this program qualifies the PADI Instructor to teach two courses: PADI Adaptive Techniques Specialty course to dive leaders and PADI Adaptive Support Diver Specialty course to divers.
Prerequisites:
- Current PADI Instructor
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
