Learn about the history, the legends, and the lure of Palm Beach County’s oldest and youngest wrecks during our October Social Night!
Jena McNeal, Artificial Reef Coordinator for the PBC Deptarment of Environmental Resources Management, will share the stories of some of our favorite wrecks and artificial reefs throughout Palm Beach County.
See historic photos, and learn how sinking procedures have changed over the years. Jena will also share plans for future wrecks that may be coming to our area.

Evening’s Itinerary:
6:30 pm to 7 pm: Happy Hour – Enjoy refreshing hors d’oeuvres on us! Bring your favorite Halloween-themed “potluck” style dish to share. Sip wine and beer as you chat with fellow guests, the evenings’ presenter, and the Pura Vida Crew.
7 pm to 7:45 pm: Presentation by Jena McNeal, PBC Dept. of Env. Resources Mgmt.
7:45 pm to 8 pm: Questions & Raffle Drawing
Proceeds from our 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Palm Beach County Diving Association. The winner of the raffle drawing will receive a gift certificate for the value of half the proceeds raised, or they may choose to donate the entire amount. The Palm Beach County Diving Association is dedicated to preserving marine habitat through the implementation of new artificial reef systems throughout Palm Beach County.
